Fork Lift Drivers

Job Title: Forklift Driver / Store Person

Reporting to: Depot Manager

Purpose: Provide support to the Depot Manager to ensure the smooth running of the warehouse and loading/unloading operations.

Essential Criteria:

• Must hold a current ‘Certificate of Competency’ in operations of a Forklift Truck.
• Freight dispatch and receivables
• Experience in General Freight
• Container loading/unloading
• Inventory control
• Quality control
• General house keeping
• Co-operate, participate, contribute and work in a team environment
• Assist Management with ideas for improvements
• Sound knowledge of OH&S requirements
• Communicate with Management on daily activities
• Control traffic flow into and around warehouse
• Assume responsibilities in the absence of hierarchy
• Prepare product for loading
• Process paperwork where required
• Check product for damage and report to Management
